My Approach

I see therapy as a collaborative process grounded in curiosity, compassion, and a trusting therapeutic relationship. Together, we pay attention not only to thoughts and emotions, but also to the body and nervous system, and to the ways past experiences continue to shape the present.

Our work can involve developing a greater capacity to be with what arises, cultivating trust in your own inner knowing, and deepening your presence with what is and what you dream can be. From this process, greater choice, flexibility, and new ways of responding can emerge.

I begin with the gracefulness of each moment and each life.

Each past moment has led to this one, and what comes next grows from what is here now. Even in loss and difficulty, there is something meaningful in recognizing the fullness of what has shaped you.

Together, we can rest into the elegance of you, making space for what is painful while also noticing what brings steadiness, connection, pleasure, and aliveness. We can move between these places with curiosity, expanding your capacity to hold more of your experience and staying open to what might become possible.

My approach is…

Intuitive

Through attunement and non-judgmental curiosity, I follow emotions like a plumb line to get to the depth of what has brought you to therapy. I will support you in developing a friendliness toward all that emerges—feelings, sensations, memories, and what is quietly moving beneath the surface.

Sensible

Grounded in mindfulness and awareness of the body and nervous system, I offer support that is practical, direct, and informed by my training in evidence-based approaches.

For Living Vividly

Attending to all that life holds—loss and heartbreak and pain, but also beauty and pleasure and joy—can be like shedding away our protective layers and letting our light shine through. There is radiance there.

I believe that change flows easiest from self-acceptance and that self-acceptance is nurtured through the telling, the listening, and the embodied expressions of our lives.
